Thursday, October 26, we’re back at the Southeast Portland Tool Library where we’ll be repairing small appliances, bikes and garments. Our volunteers will be there from 6-8pm to fix your broken items. The Tool Library is in the basement of the Hinson Memorial Baptist Church at 1137 SE 20th Ave, just off SE Salmon St.

The Repair Cafe takes place in the Community Hall Annex (map). Please note: Parking on PCC’s campus requires a parking permit, and the fee is $2.00 for 2 hours. Purchase your parking permit at a kiosk located in the lot where you park. Lot F is closest to the Community Hall.
Please do not park in the neighborhood. Cars parked in the neighborhood can be ticketed.
There will be signs on campus directing you to the Repair Cafe.

Come celebrate Earth Day with us and get something repaired. We’re back with an old friend – the North Portland Tool Library. As usual, we’ll be fixing small appliances, garments and bikes. We’ll have knife and tool sharpening (limit 2 items per person) and small engine repair, too.

We are thrilled to partner with the ReBuilding Center for our March Repair Cafe. Bring your broken small appliances, garments and bikes and we’ll do our best to fix them. Julie from JD’s Shoe repair will be giving leather care tips and providing limited shoe goo applications, and we will have a couple volunteers with their tool and knife sharpeners. Please only bring 2 sharpening items per person.
We’ll be in the ReBuilding Center’s ReFind Education Center on the north side of the building located at 3625 N Mississippi Blvd. Enter through the door to the administrative offices. Signs will direct you.

Join us for the last Fix-It Fair of the season, when we’ll once again repair small appliances and mend garments. This Fair is at Madison High School, 2735 NE 82nd Ave. Our fabulous volunteers will accept items for repair from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm. You can register here to tell us what item you’ll bring. January’s Fix-It Fair takes place at George Middle School, 10000 N Burr Ave. Although the Fair’s hours are 9:30 am – 2:30 pm, we’ll be on-hand to fix small appliances and mend garments from 10:30-1:30. Come check out all the Fix-It Fair has to offer and learn about a host of resources available to local residents.
