This is our last Repair Cafe before we take a break for the summer, and we’re thrilled to partner again with the North Portland Tool Library. Come get your small appliances, garments and bikes fixed on Tuesday, May 14, from 6-8 pm. Address is 2209 N Schofield St, in the Historic Kenton Firehouse.
We’re partnering with the ReBuilding Center for our April Repair Cafe. Always a great event and we appreciate the support we get from the fine folks at the ReBuilding Center. Our volunteers will be fixing small appliances, mending garments, doing minor bike repair, and sharpening knives and tools. Please note that we limit items for sharpening to two per person.
The ReBuilding Center is located at 3625 N Mississippi, and we’ll be there Wednesday, April 24, from 6-8pm. You’ll find us in the Education Shop, which is through the administrative entrance. Look for our signs pointing the way.
It wouldn’t be spring without a Repair Cafe at the Southeast Portland Tool Library! Bring your broken small appliances, fabric items to be mended and bikes for some maintenance love Thursday, March 21, from 6 – 8 pm. We’ll also have a volunteer sharpening knives and garden tools. Limit of two items per person so that we can help as many people as possible. You can find us in the basement of the Hinson Memorial Baptist Church, 1137 SE 20th Ave.
This will be the last Fix-It Fair of the season – although not the last Repair Cafe. We’ll be fixing small appliances, mending garments and doing minor bike repairs. Join us Saturday, February 23, from 10 am to 1:30 pm, at Floyd Light Middle School, 10800 SE Washington St.
Bring your broken small appliances, garments and other textiles to our first Repair Cafe of the new year. With our partner Bikes for Humanity, we’ll be doing minor bike repairs, too. It’s Fix-It Fair season! Each year, we partner with the City of Portland to hold Repair Cafes during the City’s Fix-It Fairs. First up is the Fix-It Fair at Madison High, located at 2735 NE 82nd Ave. On Saturday, November 17, from 10 am to 1 pm, our volunteers will be fixing small appliances and mending garments and other textiles. Also, we are thrilled to partner with Bikes 4 Humanity to bring bike repair back to the Fix-It Fair!
While you’re there, be sure to check out all the Fix-It Fairs have to offer. Learn about what local community organizations have to offer or attend some workshops. Fix-It Fairs are always among our favorite events of the year.

Join us as we partner once again with Rosewood Initiative and Gresham Repair Cafe to fix your broken small appliances and bikes, and mend your clothing and other textiles. Kids need clothes repaired for back to school? Bring them to the Repair Cafe.
Our volunteer sewists and fixers will be on hand from 6-8 pm, Thursday, August 23. Rosewood Initiative is at 16126 SE Stark St.
