The ReBuilding Center hosts our last spring repair cafe before a summer break. We’ll be fixing small appliances, bikes, and mending garments and other textiles. The ReBuilding Center is located at 3625 N Mississippi. We’ll be in the Education Shop, which is through the administrative entrance. Look for our signs pointing the way.
We regret to announce we’re canceling our March Repair Cafe. Doing our part to protect the health of our volunteers and attendees is our top priority. We’ll make decisions about future events at a later date, and will update our website and social media, and send out notifications via our newsletter. Hold onto those broken items and garments for mending. Be assured. We’ll be back!
Get ready for spring! We’ll be repairing small appliances and bikes, mending garments and sharpening knives and garden tools at this event. Items for sharpening are limited to two per person so that we can help as many people as our time permits. We’ll be in the Historic Kenton Firehouse, located at 2209 N Schofield St, Portland.
Join us as we partner once again with Rosewood Initiative to fix your broken small appliances and bikes, and mend your clothing and other textiles.
Our volunteer sewists and fixers will be on hand from 6-8 pm, Thursday, August 15th. Rosewood Initiative is at 16126 SE Stark St.
Please note that Rosewood Initiative has air conditioning!
