IMG_5987We are thrilled to partner with the ReBuilding Center for our March Repair Cafe. Bring your broken small appliances, garments and bikes and we’ll do our best to fix them. Our volunteers will be on hand March 23 from 6-8pm, at the ReBuilding Center’s ReFind Education Center on the north side of the building located at 3625 N Mississippi Blvd. Enter through the door to the administrative offices. Signs will direct you.

The ReBuilding Center has a small parking lot on the south side of the building, plus street parking. Tell others about this event! Feel free to download and share this flyer.

Fix-It Fair, February 25, 10:30-1:30

stans_repairingJoin us for the last Fix-It Fair of the season, when we’ll once again repair small appliances and mend garments. This Fair is at Madison High School, 2735 NE 82nd Ave. Our fabulous volunteers will accept items for repair from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm. You can register here to tell us what item you’ll bring. chuck_repairingJanuary’s Fix-It Fair takes place at George Middle School, 10000 N Burr Ave. Although the Fair’s hours are  9:30 am – 2:30 pm, we’ll be on-hand to fix small appliances and mend garments from 10:30-1:30. Come check out all the Fix-It Fair has to offer and learn about a host of resources available to local residents. Registration is not required, but you can register in advance here to tell us what item you’ll bring for repair. Learn more about our events on the What to Expect page.

We’ll hold a Repair Cafe from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm at Ron Russell Middle School, 3955 SE 112th Ave. Come check out all the Fix-It Fair has to offer and learn about a host of resources available to local residents. Although registration isn’t required, you can sign up for the Repair Cafe here and let us know what item you’ll be bringing for repair.

Community Warehouse, October 20, 6-8pm

dsc_1334-75Join us for a return visit to Community Warehouse, one of our fabulous community partners. Bring your broken small appliances, bikes, garments and other textiles and we’ll do our best to fix them. We’ll be there, 3969 NE MLK Blvd, from 6 to 8pm. Please enter through the parking lot, just south of Shaver. Although pre-registering isn’t required, when you sign up here it helps us determine how many people may be attending.

The Association of Oregon Recyclers (AOR) hosts a Repair Cafe as part of their annual conference. This is our first partnership with AOR, and we are honored to be included as an event at this state-wide conference. Join us from 6-8 pm at the DoubleTree Lloyd District Expo Hall, 1000 NE Multnomah St.

At this event, repair volunteers will fix small appliances and bikes, and sewing volunteers will mend garments and other textiles.

The event is open to conference attendees and the general public.

Please Note! DoubleTree Hotel is offering a discounted parking fee of $3.00 for Repair Cafe attendees who park in the DoubleTree garage. Tickets for the discounted rate are available to attendees at the Repair Cafe registration table.
